BMW wheel fitment guide
Bolt pattern, centre bore, thread and the wheel sizes that fit 29 BMW models we engineer wheels for. Street sizes suit a lowered car with no guard work; aggressive sizes usually need a guard roll or camber. Figures are for the common Australian trim — check your tyre placard, and we confirm every order against your exact car before production.

Rear caliper clearance is tight below ET20.
What wheel offset fits a BMW 3 Series (E46)?
For a BMW 3 Series (E46) (1998–2006 (318i–330i)), a street fitment is 8J wide at ET41–49 in 17–18"; aggressive setups run 8.5J at ET35–46. Factory wheels are 17x7.5 ET47 with 225/45R17 tyres. It uses a 5×120 bolt pattern, 72.6mm centre bore and M12×1.5 bolt thread. E-series uses M12×1.5 bolts — F/G-series bolts do not fit.
Not sure which BMW you have, or running a big brake kit? Use the fitment tool or send us the car — we confirm width, offset, bore and brake clearance in writing before anything is made.

How to read it
Offset (ET) is the distance from the wheel's centreline to the hub mounting face. Lower offset pushes the wheel out (more poke, more concave face); higher offset pulls it in toward the suspension.
Concavity depth is how far the hub face sits behind the outer lip — the deeper it is, the more concave a wheel design can be. Backspacing is the distance from the inner flange to the hub face, which decides strut and brake clearance.
Poke compares the outer edge of the new tyre with your current one. Street limits suit a lowered car with no guard work; max limits usually need a guard roll, camber or both. Tyre size changes of more than 3% in diameter will noticeably change your speedo.
