Custom Forged Wheel Design
WheelWork Customs designs custom forged wheels for one car at a time. You tell us the make, model and year; we set the diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore, check brake and guard clearance, and confirm the full spec with you in writing before production starts. Every set is designed in-house in Melbourne and shipped free Australia-wide.
What you can order
- Forged 1-piece: machined from a single forged 6061-T6 aluminium blank. From $575 per wheel, made in 6 to 8 weeks.
- Forged 2-piece: a forged centre joined to a separate barrel, so lip depth and width can be set independently. Made in 8 to 12 weeks.
- Flow-formed: our lower-cost range in set sizes and bolt patterns, dispatched in about 5 weeks.
How a custom forged set is made
- Tell us your car. Make, model, year and any brake, suspension or body changes. Pick a design from the range or send us a reference.
- We spec it. Width, offset, bolt pattern, centre bore, seat type and tyre size, checked against your brakes and guards.
- You approve in writing. The full spec and a fixed price, before anything is cut.
- Machined to your car. The forged blank is CNC machined to your face design, width, offset, bolt pattern and hub bore.
- Finished and checked. Your colour and finish, with balance and run-out checked before the set is boxed.
Finishes
Gloss black, satin black, gunmetal, bronze and silver are standard. Brushed and high-polish finishes are available as options, and we can colour-match to a paint code or photo. See all finish options.
How much do custom forged wheels cost?
Forged 1-piece wheels start from $575 per wheel. Diameter, width, design and finish set the final price, and you get it fixed in writing before production. Paying upfront takes 5% off, or you can use Afterpay at full price.
How long do custom forged wheels take?
Forged 1-piece sets take 6 to 8 weeks and forged 2-piece sets 8 to 12 weeks once the spec is confirmed. Flow-formed wheels take about 5 weeks. Express DHL air freight is available for a flat $850 per set.
What warranty do forged wheels have?
Forged wheels carry an 8-year structural warranty and a 3-year finish warranty, plus our fitment guarantee: if a set we specced does not fit your car, we make it right. Full terms are on our warranty page.
Can you make wheels for my car?
Almost certainly. We build for European, Japanese, Australian and American cars, EVs, SUVs and 4x4s, including imported and modified cars and unusual bolt patterns. Check your car in the fitment tool or send it to us.
