Custom Forged Wheels & Rims
Custom Forged Rims Made to Order — For Any Car
WheelWork Customs is an Australian manufacturer of custom forged wheels and rims, built to order for any vehicle and any fitment. Based in Melbourne and shipping Australia-wide, we design every wheel in-house and verify the fitment against your specific car — bolt pattern, centre bore, width, offset, brake and guard clearance — before anything goes into production. If your car isn't on someone else's list, that isn't a problem here. It's the normal case.
What are custom forged rims?
Custom forged rims are wheels machined to order from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminium compressed under extreme pressure, rather than cast in a mould. Forging produces a denser, stronger, lighter wheel — and because each set is cut to your specification, you choose the diameter, width, offset, concavity, spoke design and finish.
Which cars can WheelWork Customs make rims for?
All of them. Every wheel is machined to order rather than pulled from a catalogue, so there is no fixed vehicle list — give us the car and we'll build the fitment. European, Japanese and JDM, electric, American and Australian muscle, 4WDs, utes, vans, and classic restorations where no off-the-shelf wheel exists.
How do I find the right wheels for my car?
Send your vehicle details using the form on this page — make, model, year, variant, current wheel and tyre size, and any brake or suspension modifications. We work the fitment through with you and come back with a recommended specification. No cost, no obligation, and a real answer rather than a generic size chart.
What is a wheel fitment check?
A fitment check confirms the exact specification your car needs before any wheel is made: bolt pattern (PCD), centre bore, width, diameter, offset (ET), tyre size, and clearance for brakes, guards and suspension. Get it wrong and the wheel rubs, sits badly, or doesn't seat properly on the hub.
Can you build for modified or imported cars?
Modified, imported and rare vehicles are where made-to-order wheels earn their keep. Big brake kits, coilovers, air suspension, widebody kits, staggered and reverse-stagger setups, non-standard bolt patterns and engine conversions are all fitments we build for regularly. Send us the parts that make it complicated.
What can you actually build?
One-piece forged monoblock, two-piece forged, and flow-formed wheels — across a wide range of diameters, widths, offsets, concavity and dish profiles, spoke designs and finishes, including gloss, satin, brushed, polished and dual-tone. All engineered from 6061-T6 aluminium and covered by our structural warranty.
How much do custom forged wheels cost?
Pricing depends on diameter, construction and finish, and every set is quoted against your confirmed fitment — see the forged 1-piece and forged 2-piece ranges for current per-wheel pricing. We price-match any comparable custom forged quote.
How long does a custom order take?
Roughly 6-8 weeks from confirmed order to delivery, covering design approval, manufacturing and shipping. The sequence is: fitment consultation, deposit, a design render for your approval, then production. You sign off on exactly what's being built before it's built.
Why not just buy off-the-shelf rims?
Off-the-shelf wheels come in a handful of common sizes and offsets, so most cars end up in a compromise fitment — close enough to bolt on, not actually right. A made-to-order wheel is machined to your car's real numbers: correct clearance, correct stance, and no spacers hiding a gap that shouldn't be there.
Where are you based, and do you ship?
Melbourne, Victoria. We ship Australia-wide with free domestic shipping, and internationally on request. Fitment consultations run by phone, email or online, so you don't need to be in Melbourne to order a set.
