For a Subaru WRX (GD) (2001–2007), a street fitment is 7.5J wide at ET47–55 in 17–18"; aggressive setups run 8J at ET41–52. Factory wheels are 17x7 ET53 with 215/45R17 tyres. It uses a 5×100 bolt pattern, 56.1mm centre bore and M12×1.25 thread. WheelWork Customs has built forged sets for this car: 17x8 ET53.
What wheel offset fits a Subaru BRZ (ZC6)?
For a Subaru BRZ (ZC6) (2012–2021), a street fitment is 8–9J wide at ET35–45 in 17–18"; aggressive setups run 9–10J at ET20–35. Factory wheels are 17x7 ET48 with 215/45R17 tyres. It uses a 5×100 bolt pattern, 56.1mm centre bore and M12×1.25 thread. Identical platform to Toyota 86 ZN6. Fender rolling recommended for 9J+ fitments.
What wheel offset fits a Subaru BRZ (ZD8)?
For a Subaru BRZ (ZD8) (2022–present), a street fitment is 8.5–9.5J wide at ET38–48 in 18"; aggressive setups run 9.5–10.5J at ET20–38. Factory wheels are 18x7.5 ET48 with 215/40R18 tyres. It uses a 5×100 bolt pattern, 56.1mm centre bore and M12×1.25 thread. Identical platform to GR86 ZN8. Fenders have more clearance for flush fitments.

For a Subaru Forester (SK) (2018–present), a street fitment is 7.5J wide at ET40–50 in 18–19"; aggressive setups run 8–8.5J at ET33–47. Factory wheels are 18x7 ET48 with 225/55R18 tyres. It uses a 5×114.3 bolt pattern, 56.1mm centre bore and M12×1.25 thread. SK moved to 5×114.3 — SJ Forester (5×100) wheels do not fit.

It uses a 5×114.3 bolt pattern, 56.1mm centre bore and M12×1.25 thread. Very high stock offset (ET55). Significant offset change needed to flush up. Hub-centric rings strongly recommended.

For a Subaru WRX (VB) (2022–present (WRX 2.4T)), a street fitment is 9–10J wide at ET40–52 in 18"; aggressive setups run 10–10.5J at ET28–40. Factory wheels are 18x8.5 ET55 with 245/40R18 tyres. It uses a 5×114.3 bolt pattern, 56.1mm centre bore and M12×1.25 thread. New chassis, wider body. Similar fitment to VA but with slightly more fender clearance.

For a Subaru WRX STI (GD) (2005–2007), a street fitment is 8.5J wide at ET47–55 in 17–18"; aggressive setups run 9J at ET41–52. Factory wheels are 17x8 ET53 with 225/45R17 tyres. It uses a 5×114.3 bolt pattern, 56.1mm centre bore and M12×1.25 thread. 2005+ GD STI moved to 5×114.3; earlier STI and all GD WRX are 5×100.

What wheel offset fits a Subaru WRX STI (VA)?
For a Subaru WRX STI (VA) (2015–2021 (STI 2.5T)), a street fitment is 9–10J wide at ET40–50 in 18"; aggressive setups run 10–10.5J at ET28–40. Factory wheels are 18x8.5 ET55 with 245/40R18 tyres. It uses a 5×114.3 bolt pattern, 56.1mm centre bore and M12×1.25 thread. Wider body than WRX VA. Brembo caliper (front) requires careful spoke clearance. 10J ET38 is a popular balanced setup.

How to read it
Offset (ET) is the distance from the wheel's centreline to the hub mounting face. Lower offset pushes the wheel out (more poke, more concave face); higher offset pulls it in toward the suspension.
Concavity depth is how far the hub face sits behind the outer lip — the deeper it is, the more concave a wheel design can be. Backspacing is the distance from the inner flange to the hub face, which decides strut and brake clearance.
Poke compares the outer edge of the new tyre with your current one. Street limits suit a lowered car with no guard work; max limits usually need a guard roll, camber or both. Tyre size changes of more than 3% in diameter will noticeably change your speedo.
