For a Honda Civic (FC/FK 10th gen) (2016–2021), a street fitment is 8–9J wide at ET40–50 in 17–18"; aggressive setups run 9–10J at ET28–40. Factory wheels are 17x7.5 ET50 with 215/50R17 tyres. How to read it
Offset (ET) is the distance from the wheel's centreline to the hub mounting face. Lower offset pushes the wheel out (more poke, more concave face); higher offset pulls it in toward the suspension.
Concavity depth is how far the hub face sits behind the outer lip — the deeper it is, the more concave a wheel design can be. Backspacing is the distance from the inner flange to the hub face, which decides strut and brake clearance.
Poke compares the outer edge of the new tyre with your current one. Street limits suit a lowered car with no guard work; max limits usually need a guard roll, camber or both. Tyre size changes of more than 3% in diameter will noticeably change your speedo.
