This policy applies to wheels, wheel fasteners and related vehicle products supplied by WheelWork Customs Pty Ltd, trading as WheelWorkCustoms.

Fitment information

Wheel fitment depends on factors including vehicle make, model, year, variant, hub dimensions, bolt pattern, centre bore, offset, width, tyre size, brake clearance, suspension, bodywork, load requirements and vehicle modifications.

Customers must provide complete and accurate vehicle information and disclose non-standard brakes, suspension changes, body modifications, spacers, hub conversions or other changes that may affect fitment. Advice provided by us is based on the information supplied and information reasonably available at the time. Nothing in this policy excludes responsibility for an error made by us or rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Verification before mounting tyres

Before tyres are mounted, the installer should test-fit each wheel and confirm hub seating, brake clearance, suspension clearance, body clearance, fastener engagement and suitability of the selected tyre. Do not mount a tyre, drive the vehicle or modify the wheel if the fitment appears incorrect. Contact us promptly for assistance.

Installation

Wheels and wheel fasteners should be installed by a suitably qualified and insured automotive or tyre professional using equipment appropriate for the product. The installer must use the correct fastener type, thread, seat profile, length, hub-centric components and tightening sequence.

Torque and re-checking

Fasteners must be tightened to the specification applicable to the vehicle, wheel and fastener combination. We do not publish a single universal torque value because requirements vary. Use a calibrated torque wrench and follow the relevant vehicle, wheel and fastener instructions. The installer should advise when fastener torque must be checked again after initial driving.

Load, tyres and legal requirements

The wheel, tyre and fastener combination must meet applicable load, size and road-use requirements. Customers and installers are responsible for checking local registration, inspection and modification requirements. We will provide available product specifications on request.

Spacers, adapters and modifications

Do not machine, drill, weld or otherwise modify a wheel or fastener without written approval from an appropriately qualified person. Spacers, adapters and hub conversions may alter load, clearance, fastener engagement and legal compliance and must be assessed for the specific vehicle.

Inspection and continued use

Stop using the product and obtain professional advice if there is unusual vibration, loss of fastener torque, visible cracking, bending, impact damage, air loss, interference, abnormal noise or any other safety concern. Wheels involved in a significant impact should be inspected before further use.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
